What to know about the Eagles new coaching hire and why he’s a good fit
New York Giants head coach Ben McAdoo will replace the fired Bill Parcells as the team’s new head coach, according to sources.
The announcement was made at a press conference held by the team and was made to reporters outside of the press box.
The Giants announced on Wednesday that McAdoos replacement is Tom Coughlin, who replaces Parcells in the team head coach role.
The former Eagles offensive coordinator will join the Giants coaching staff after being hired by the Cleveland Browns last month.
McAdows interim replacement will be John Fox, who joined the Cleveland franchise in February as the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles.
A person familiar with the situation confirmed to ESPN that McADoo will take over as the Giants’ next head coach.
McADOO’s hiring comes after the team fired McAdoins predecessor, Bill Parcell, after just four games in the NFL.
The Giants will host the New York Jets on Sunday in their regular-season finale.
