Former coach dreams bottle perfume company
Former coach and current PepsiCo CEO Steve Forbes has the dream of launching a perfume line.
Forbes was the lead singer of the pop group The Weeknd before they were fired from their deal with PepsiCo in 2017.
Forbes said on Twitter that he “dreams about getting into the perfume business” and plans to launch his own line next year.
“This year is about taking the next step for the perfume industry,” Forbes wrote.
“I know that I am one of the lucky ones that got to experience the beauty world first hand and have the chance to share my passion with a global audience.
I want to bring something special to this industry.”
The former head of ESPN’s basketball studio, who helped launch the company’s esports platform, has a long history in the industry.
Forbes, who has worked with many companies, including PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, and McDonald’s, said he hopes to bring some of his “big ideas” to the world of perfumes.
Forbes has a background in the makeup industry and has been involved in product design and manufacturing since the 1990s.
Forbes also owns a fashion line called Glamor, which has been sold to fashion brand LVMH.
